Overhaul Games creative directory Trent Oster announced via Twitter last week that development for Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition was on track to meet the revised release date of November 28th release. Then today it was confirmed that the development studio is already planning to start working on an enhanced edition to Baldur's Gate 2 as soon as the release of Baldur's Gate is complete. There was no mention of specific changes and if the expansion would be included, but I think it's a reasonable expectation that it will be included along with other enhancements that are already known for Baldur's Gate.
